Company builds upon the success of the GC2 Smart Camera System with its unveiling of the most advanced club head tracking system available today.
Two years after San Diego-based Foresight Sports released its “game changing” launch monitor and golf simulator technology called the GC2 Smart Camera System, the company has announced the official launch of its latest innovation – an advanced club head tracking solution called HMT – Head Measurement Technology. Like its predecessor, the new highly anticipated technology is being officially unveiled at this year’s PGA Merchandise Show.
The company believes their latest innovation – which works in tandem with the GC2 to deliver an unprecedented level of club head analysis data – will continue to build on the meteoric success of its GC2, which in the last two years has lived up to its “Game Changer” tagline. “The industry’s response to the GC2 has been phenomenal,” says Scott Werbelow, Foresight Sports President. “In less than two years, top equipment makers, fitters, retailers, consumers and even tour players are choosing the GC2 and GC2-powered simulation solutions at a pace well beyond our initial expectations.”
Now, with the success of its GC2 well established, Foresight Sports is expecting to once again change the game with HMT – Head Measurement Technology. The new device, which uses the same stereoscopic camera technology found in the GC2, captures and analyzes club head performance and displays the results in real time to the player – providing unprecedented insight into critical information including club head velocity, smash factor, horizontal and vertical club path, face angle, dynamic loft and lie and impact location – all with the same unmatched accuracy offered by the GC2.
The new HMT – Head Measurement Technology will be officially unveiled and demonstrated along with the GC2 at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show’s Outdoor Demo day, as well as Foresight Sports’ booth 1543 in the EXPO Hall.
