Arizona State received 30 of 35 first-place votes and is No. 1 in the first Golf World/NGCA Division I Coaches’ Poll. Pepperdine, ranked No. 13 in the preseason poll, vaulted to the second spot after winning its first two events of the fall season. SEC members Auburn, LSU and Georgia own the Nos. 3-5 spots, respectively.
