The Golfathon was founded in 2004 to celebrate Mission Hills’ recognition by the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest golf club. From May 1 to Aug. 31, men and women from 21 countries submitted scores on nine of the club’s courses, and more than 25,000 rounds of golf were played.
