Eight Players Named To USA Team For 2009 Walker Cup Match
The U.S. Golf Association announces eight of the 10 amateur players who will comprise the 2009 U.S. Walker Cup team. The final two players for the team, which will face Great Britain and Ireland, Sept. 12-13 in Ardmore, Pa., will be selected following the U.S. Amateur. The eight players are Bud Cauley, Rickie Fowler, Brendan Gielow, Brian Harman, Morgan Hoffmann, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Smith and Drew Weaver.
