A commentary in the Wednesday, March 1, edition of The Wire incorrectly identified the LPGA commissioner in 1995 when golf analyst Ben Wright made comments in a newspaper interview at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship that ultimately led to his dismissal at CBS. Charlie Mechem was the commissioner.
