Dormie Club: To host second Dormie Cup fundraiser Oct. 15-16 in West End, N.C. Proceeds from the junior Ryder Cup-style tournament benefit Wounded Warriors. Last year, the event raised more than $10,000.

The Governors Club: Raised a club record of more that $10,000 during the fifth Patriot Golf Day, which benefits the Folds of Honor Foundation. The club is located in Brentwood, Tenn.

Heroes Crusade: Receives the endorsement of wounded veteran Brian Donarski, who performs clinics produced by the Salute Military Golf Association. Donarski, 43, suffered debilitating and nearly fatal injuries as a result of a 2006 accident. “By all accounts of the accident, I should be dead,” said Donarski, whose team hit an anti-tank mine in Iraq. Heroes Crusade is a sporting tournament, which includes golf, Nov. 4-6 in Fayetteville, N.C.

Polara Golf Foundation: To host the Polara Open at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, Fla., on Wednesday, Oct. 12th. Proceeds of the event will benefit the South Miami Hospital’s Child Development Center.

Bettinardi Golf: Partners with Life Church of Chicagoland to benefit “Network for Good,” which provides spiritual nurturing, counseling, medical treatment aid and support for those individuals along with their families suffering from cancer. Bettinardi Golf will donate a percentage of each Pink Ribbon Collection buckle sale to the charity.

Trion:Z: Introduces a Pink Ribbon program in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The company has designed a special pink ionic wristband that features the cause’s pink ribbon design. Proceeds from sales will be donated to the Darren Clarke Foundation.

AB Golf Designs: To donate a portion of proceeds from sales of its Swing Bling and Think Pink head covers to the Mauer Foundation, which focuses on educating about the importance of early breast cancer detection, risk reduction and healthy lifestyle choices.
