The PGA of America announces it will sponsor the 88th PGA Championship Youth Skills Challenge to culminate in a final showdown the week of this year’s PGA Championship in Medinah, Ill.

The Georgia PGA, the Georgia State Golf Association and the Atlanta Junior Golf Association partner with the BellSouth Classic to kick off Play Golf Georgia month on Saturday, April 1, at the BellSouth Classic’s Junior Clinic. The clinic will take place on the range at TPC at Sugarloaf at approximately 4 p.m.

The Meadows Golf Club at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich., has been selected to host the 2007 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship. This will be the sixth NCAA Division II national championship held at the Michael Hurdzan-designed course.

SMT Golf will attend the 2006 PCS Expo held March 2-5 in Louisville, Ky.

Andy North will defend his title at the ING Par-3 Shootout at Threetops Course at Treetops Resort in Treetops, Mich., June 26-27. Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples and Craig Stadler will round out the four-player field.
