CMAA Supports Drug-Free Work Week – October 19-25, 2009

The Club Managers Association of America announces its support of National Drug-Free Work Week, a U.S. Department of Labor-sponsored initiative that runs today through Oct. 25. The purpose of Drug-Free Work Week is to highlight that being drug free is key to workplace safety and health, and to encourage workers with alcohol and drug problems to seek help.

The Royal and Ancient Golf Club and Royal Society for the Protection of Birds collaborate to produce a new publication, “Birds and Golf Courses: a guide to habitat management.” The publication is available on the R&A Web site.

AGM and Golf World Make Last Call For 100 Golf Shop Applications

Golf World and the Association of Golf Merchandisers partner to streamline the entry process for their two industry award programs – Golf World’s 100 Best Golf Shops and the AGM’s Front Nine Awards.
