In a story that was published in the Thursday, Sept. 25, issue of The Wire, it was erroneously reported that K.J. Choi was testing Callaway equipment. Choi is a Nike Golf staff player and was testing Nike equipment.

Golf World Announces Results Of Second Women's College Coaches' Poll Of The Spring Season

Southern California receives 11 of 25 first-place votes and is No. 1 in the second Golf World/NGCA Division I Women’s Coaches’ Poll of the fall season. The Trojans finished second at the Duramed NCAA Fall Preview to start the season. Arizona State jumped from No. 4 to No. 2 with a victory at the Fall Preview, and is followed by UCLA (No. 3), Georgia (No. 4) and Duke (No. 5), respectively.
