The Wyndham Championship, set for Aug. 13-19 in Greensboro, N.C., is offering half-price good-any-day tickets in a five-day ticket sale. Good-any-day tickets will be available for just $15 July 16-20. All half-price tickets must be purchased through the tournament office in person at 401 N. Greene Street in Greensboro or by calling 336-379-1570. … The American Junior Golf Association announces the teams for the 18th Canon Cup, to be played at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn., July 30-Aug. 2. The Canon Cup pits East vs. West in a team match play format over three days. The West, which has won four of the past five Canon Cup matches, includes 18 Rolex Junior All-Americans and is led by Mina Harigae of Monterey, Calif., who recently won the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship and made the cut at the U.S. Women’s Open. The East will look to reclaim the Canon Cup with a team compiled of 12 Rolex Junior All-Americans, namely 2005 Rolex Junior Player of the Year Peter Uihlein of Bradenton, Fla.
