Five of the nation’s top 10 amateurs, including Stacy Lewis of Arkansas and Amanda Blumenherst of Duke, headline the field for the 105th Women’s North and South Amateur, July 16-22 at Pinehurst No. 2, in Pinehurst, N.C.

Sixteen-year-old Tadd Fujikawa announces he will turn professional and has retained the law firm of Patton Boggs LLP to serve as his attorney-agent. … The Atlanta Junior Golf announces three metro Atlanta, Ga., courses — Chateau Elan, City Club Marietta and Stone Mountain Golf Club — will host the association’s season-ending invitational championships for boys and girls, ages 7-18. … Ryder Cup teammates Jose Maria Olazabal, David Howell and Paul McGinley all commit to play in the Deutsche Bank Players’ Championship of Europe, July 26-29. … Baird, an international financial services firm, partners with PGA Tour professional Mark Wilson. … The Florida State Golf Association announces that entries for the Florida State Mid-Senior Championship, to be held at Amelia Island Plantation Aug. 17-19, will close July 18. To be eligible for the Mid-Senior Championship, players must be 40 years of age or older. …

The Wyndham Championship, set for Aug. 13-19 in Greensboro, N.C., is offering half-price good-any-day tickets in a five-day ticket sale. Good-any-day tickets will be available for just $15 July 16-20. All half-price tickets must be purchased through the tournament office in person at 401 N. Greene Street in Greensboro or by calling 336-379-1570. … The American Junior Golf Association announces the teams for the 18th Canon Cup, to be played at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn., July 30-Aug. 2. The Canon Cup pits East vs. West in a team match play format over three days. The West, which has won four of the past five Canon Cup matches, includes 18 Rolex Junior All-Americans and is led by Mina Harigae of Monterey, Calif., who recently won the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship and made the cut at the U.S. Women’s Open. The East will look to reclaim the Canon Cup with a team compiled of 12 Rolex Junior All-Americans, namely 2005 Rolex Junior Player of the Year Peter Uihlein of Bradenton, Fla.
