United Sports Technologies reports that the respective winner’s of the Japan Tour’s Sun Chlorella Classic and the PGA Tour’s Legends Reno-Tahoe Open used the company’s shafts. The Sun Chlorella Classic champion played UST Proforce V2 graphite shafts in his Titleist driver, Ping 3-wood and two Titleist hybrid clubs. The Legends Reno-Tahoe champion played the UST Irod shaft in his Titleist hybrid.

The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic announces that the host course for the 50th annual event will be the Palmer Private Course at PGA West. Other courses in the 2009 rotation will be Bermuda Dunes Country Club, an original course in the first tournament in 1960, La Quinta’s SilverRock Resort, which debuted in 2008, and the Nicklaus Private Course at PGA West, in the rotation for the first time.
